Forget Macy's, last year we waited in line there for over 3 hours to see "Santa" in one of those cattle stall rooms. THIS year Frankie and I went to Bloomingdale's on the 20th (just 5 days before Christmas) and there was one other kid there. ONE other kid. And he was done talking to Santa - so we had him all to ourselves. Frankie had a 10 minute conversation with him.
Kids birthday parties = expensive. Especially if your apartment is too small for one kid to run around and said kid was born in February, when the weather is too cold set up a party on a picnic bench in the park. Kidville (an indoor playground near our house) charges from $895 to $2195 - and no, I'm not joking. Well, by a stroke of luck, I got some spam from the NY Sports Club on the day I was calling around to plan Frank's party and I called them and they're SUPER CHEAP.
Just thought I'd share.
$895 to $2195..It is really a high amount I think..They desperately need money saving..I am really socked after reading this blog..
